TOURISM INDUSTRY.
The district tourism has not been explored; the district is home to the kundalila falls situated along great north road, about 13 km away from the main road at kanona
Mineral Exploration and Processing industry
The district is rich in mineral resources such as manganese, copper ores and Gold; however this industry has not been explored, this is evident from the small scale illegal miners located around the district.
It has some small scale manganese processing plants such as PLR, SAFAL. The Processing industry has not been fully developed as there are no investors that have invested in the sector.
Agriculture Production.
The district is endowed with rich fertile soils and a number of water bodies both annual and perennial. It receives adequate rainfall because it is in close proximity with the equator as it shares borders with the Congo DRC.
It is home to the nansanga farm block and the core venture
other farm blocks, include the Luombwa, kasanka, Munte and Saasa, which are not fully developed.
Real Estate and infrastructure Development
The District has vast Land in the township for modern shopping malls, housing, industrial and other commercial ventures
